Yes. We conduct a friendly, informal placement assessment to confirm the right year group for your child. For younger children this is play-based. For older students it covers English and Maths at their expected year level. It is not a pass/fail test — it helps us best support your child from day one.
Fees vary by year group, ranging from approximately AED 28,000 (FS1/FS2) to AED 52,000 (Year 12–13). Please contact our Admissions team for the current full fee schedule or visit the Admissions page. Esaad cardholders receive a 43–50% discount depending on year group.
The Esaad programme is a UAE government employee benefit that entitles eligible card holders to a fee reduction at Capital School. Discounts range from 43% (FS1/FS2) to 50% (Year 12/13). You qualify if you or your spouse is employed by a UAE federal or Dubai government entity. Simply present your Esaad card at enrolment.
Yes. We offer sibling discounts for families enrolling two or more children simultaneously. Please speak to our Admissions team for the current sibling discount policy.
Fees can be paid annually or in three termly instalments. A one-time non-refundable registration fee of AED 500 is payable upon accepting an offer. Our Finance team will walk you through the payment schedule at enrolment.
At GCSE level we use Cambridge Assessment International Education (IGCSE) and Edexcel. At Sixth Form we offer AQA and Edexcel A-Levels. All are globally recognised qualifications accepted by universities in the UK, UAE, USA, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
Yes. Arabic as a First Language (for native speakers) and Arabic as a Second Language (for non-native speakers) are taught across all year groups in compliance with KHDA requirements. Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies are also offered.
We are an inclusive school and provide appropriate support for students with identified learning needs. Our Inclusion Coordinator works with classroom teachers to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Please discuss your child’s specific needs with our Admissions team so we can assess how best to support them.
School hours are 7:45 AM – 2:45 PM for most year groups, Sunday to Thursday. Foundation Stage may have slightly adjusted hours. The school follows the UAE Ministry of Education academic calendar with public holiday observance.
