Our Partnership with Families

Essential Partners in Every Child’s Journey

At Capital School, we recognise parents as essential partners in each child’s educational journey. A strong relationship between home and school supports academic progress, student wellbeing, personal development, and a shared understanding of each learner’s needs. The Parents Portal has therefore been designed as an important communication platform, helping families remain informed, engaged, and connected to school life.

The portal strengthens communication by bringing essential information together in one accessible place. Rather than relying on multiple channels, families are able to consult a central platform for important updates and records — supporting clarity, improving responsiveness, and helping parents plan more effectively at home.

Secure Online Access

The Parents Portal

Through a secure and organised online environment, the Parents Portal provides families with timely access to key information relating to their child’s education. Parents can use the platform to view and manage:

  • School communications & announcements
  • Attendance records & alerts
  • Academic reports & assessment updates
  • School calendar & important dates
  • Fee notices & billing information
  • Forms, event sign-ups & reminders
  • Selected learning experience information

Login credentials are provided on your child’s first day. Contact admin@capitalschool.ae if you need a password reset.

Tracking Progress

Academic Monitoring

The Parents Portal plays a valuable role in helping families understand and support their child’s academic development throughout the school year.

Formal Reports

Access end-of-term and mid-year reports, reviewing your child’s attainment, effort, and teacher comments.

Reporting Periods

Follow key reporting cycles and gain a clearer picture of your child’s progress over time.

Attendance & Effort

Monitor attendance, effort ratings, and school expectations — enabling parents to provide timely encouragement.

Celebrating Progress

Recognise achievements and celebrate growth — however large or small — with up-to-date information from school.

Years 12 & 13

Staying Informed at Sixth Form

At Sixth Form level, the portal becomes particularly important. As older students develop greater independence, parents continue to play a valuable role in supporting subject choices, assessment preparation, university planning, and major academic deadlines.

The Parents Portal allows families to remain appropriately informed while encouraging students to take increasing responsibility for their own learning and future pathways — a healthy balance that reflects our approach to Sixth Form education.
